Can you use multiple manufacturers coupons on one item

They expire 1 year 12 months after they are earned and you must shop at least once every 6 months to keep your account active. If your account goes inactive, your points will disappear!. You can redeem points at pre-determined dollar levels. You can also see your total point balance at the bottom of your receipt. You can access your point balance and point history by logging into your account on Walgreens. Did you know you can even earn Rewards for participating in certain activities? Yes, you can! Earn points to spend at Walgreens by doing easy things, such as walking, quitting nicotine, exercising daily, linking a device, and more!

This is called Balance Rewards for Healthy Choices. Read about it here. If your rewards are not issued, you can contact Walgreens customer service here to get them credited to your account. This is the part that tends to confuse people, so go through it a few times if you need to. Once you become familiar with these rules, I promise you it will become easy, just like learning how to drive. Photo: Example tags for Register Reward offers. There is a limit of 1 RR printed per offer per transaction. For example, if toothpaste has a RR on it and you buy two toothpastes in a transaction, then it will only print one RR.

The Solution: If you want to buy multiples, you would split the products into multiple transactions. For example, if you wanted two toothpastes, then you would purchase them in two transactions to receive two RRs. However, if you are buying other offers that are producing RRs, then you can purchase them in the same transaction. For example, if you want to purchase toothpaste and a can of soup that have separate RR offers, then you can buy one toothpaste and one soup in the same transaction and have two RRs printed, one for each.

You can use it on other RR promotions, on promotions producing points, and on clearances. The Exception: There is an exception to this rule. Every few months, some RR promotions will print RR even if you use RR from a previous transaction to buy the same item in a new transaction. We can never predict when this happens or for how long it will happen. Usually people discover it by accident or by testing and often Walgreens puts a stop to it rather quickly. To be safe, stick to the rule.

Photo: Example tags for point rewards. This is actually good, because most of the weekly Points offers are unit offers like this. This, also, applies to Point boosters and special promotions to earn bonus Points. The Solution: If you are doing a threshold offer in a transaction, do not pay for that transaction with Points.

While RR has a limit of one print per transaction, there are no explicit limits on how many Points you can earn. You can buy two bottles in one transaction and earn Points. The total number of manufacturer coupon cannot exceed the total number of items in a transaction. Walgreens coupons do not count towards this limit.

Example, if you have two items in a transaction, then you cannot use more than two manufacturer coupons. You can, however, stack Walgreens coupons with the manufacturer coupon. RRs are considered manufacturer coupons. Can I use multiple coupons at Buy Buy Baby? Can you price match and use a coupon at Buy Buy Baby? Can you use coupons on diapers at Buy Buy Baby? Download the buybuyBABY app. They are manufacturers coupons intended to be used only at Walgreens even though I have heard of other stores accepting them.

They are just another way for the manufacturers to incentivize shoppers to purchase their products. There are RR deals that vary weekly, others that only last for a few days like a 4 day sale and still other deals last all month long. Generally they are good for 2 weeks from the date they are issued. Occasionally I have received a RR that was good for only 1 week. Rolling is using RR you received from buying one item or group of items, to purchase other items that give RR.

You can but then another RR will not print. So if you want 4 Crest in the example above you are better off rolling into Glade and then using the Glade RR to buy another Crest. You could then get the 4 Crest you need. Each RR will tell you what company it came from. If you have 2 RR from the same company but they are for different amounts you can usually roll between them.

This is unusual but occasionally it happens. RR are considered coupons. Fillers are inexpensive items that you buy so you can use more RR. Yes, you can. You can stack a manufacturer coupon or a Register Reward and a Wags Q on the same item. I have found that the most important thing is to hand in your Wags Qs after your MQs. One question I do have, why should you never hand in Walgreens Coupons first? Is there anywhere in the Walgreens Coupon policy that states that I cannot separate my transactions to use a RR towards the next purchase?

I had a manager tell me that today. I told him he was wrong and that I would bring him in a copy of HIS coupon policy next time I shop there. I just want to make sure I am right…. Though Allow me to suggest you try seeing if you can check out through the cosmetics register so not to tie up the main cashier..

Thank you! I LOVE this site! So while you are able to break up your transactions into two separate ones to accommodate your coupons it will entirely depend on the amount of customers and the workload at the time on management and cashiers. I love using coupons as well so understand your frustration however I also understand Walgreens side as I deal with couponers all the time, we must try to accommodate all customers in a timely and effective manor so allowing one customer to have multiple transactions is not fair to other customers in line.

COuponers, pls. You are NOT the only customer these people have to cater to.

How can a store limit the of transaction one can make? I agree with couponers going back in line, but limiting the transactions per visit and employess having the say whether customer may do more than 2 in a visit? If you are doing this, corporate must know about this because you are then limiting the potential sales of the store. I had a employee at a walgreens tell me that also, I went to a different walgreens and will never go back there.. Thank you for helping me save money!!!

You Can’t Use Coupons As You Used to Anymore at BJs

We cannot offer rainchecks on register rewards. We do however offer a raincheck on the sale price of an item but the register rewards are a time sensitive offer from the manufacturer and we cannot print them manually after the offer has expired. I had a walgreens give me a raincheck on the finish when it was 1. I have had no trouble, thank goodness, with any of the walgreens in my area. I have been to 5 different ones. Walgreens does not give rainchecks for the RR, if a cashier did this she was in the wrong. I hate it when employees are rude like that.

Employees should be well versed in how to handle coupons and with a smile. I have two questions. I have coupons that say 1. I had coupons bogo free. Was that right? I have never had a cashier tell me any different. Because technically it does cancel itself out. Hope this helped.

Understanding Coupon Limits (One Coupon Per Item!) | Couponing

Debbie — I have the same coupon, and yes both should be free! I have 2 B1Gi free coupons for Biore products. How does this work? I have a similar question too. Can I use a MQ coupon and both a store coupon from the weekly ad with an instant coupon from the March booklet? I have used a mq plus an in ad cpn plus a cpn from the monthly booklet for the same item and had no problem, usually the cashier has the book handy and will use the booklet whenever she sees the item run through, they are great here! Does Walgreens let you special order items? And can you get a raincheck on an item that has a RR?

I have a HUGE problem with a shelf clearer here…. I actually saw her the other day with her basket full and she cleared out pretty much everything and I must add she was RUDE to the cashier. New to the monthly savings book…. Now if I want to buy more than one of a certain product Sensodyne toothphaste , will the coupon be good for ALL the toothpastes that I buy?

Or will I have to do seperate transactions for each one I buy? TIA :. I want to get the RR deal with the Huggies this week and have a question. Is that before or after mfqs. The mg at my Walgreens said that it was after which makes it an ok deal deal but not great. What time does a 24 hour Walgreens start their ad? I get there around 8am and everything is already gone from the ad.

I would like a shot at some of these deals. The sales should be active by am. When u go into the store just ask the mgr if the ad is active yet. They just opened up a store close to me. Are u saying, for the Cottonelle offer for example. I bought the same exact items this week. You can use the RR for your next shopping trip or some people will have more than one transaction to use the RR the same day. Does anyone know…. You have to split each duplicate item into its own transaction. So, the in-ad coupon as I type this is 39cents for Scotch tape, limit 3… I want to use these as fillers but am confused abOut how they countthem for the item to coupon ratio??

If I buy 3 will it count as 3 coupons since it is applied to all or is it only count as ONE towards the ratio because it is only one physical coupon or does it not count against me at all because it is a Wal Q? WAG coupons do not count toasted the coupon to item ratio. That is strictly mfg coupons and RR. And any store that counts the WAG qpon is just being ridiculous. I read in their coupon policy that In-Store Ad coupons are not supposed to be counted, but the checkout register refuses to accept more coupons than the number of items.

I purchased 2 items and tried using 2 MQ and 2 store Q, but then also tried using a RR to purchase the items. Which I did, but used another store Q along with that one more item. Hope the cashier tried to at least ring it up…at my store the cash register will reject it and give the cashier the reason. Will more than one RR print? If you return an item that you used register rewards to pay for do you get back the full price of the item or a register reward back or only what you paid??

You should get back the full price before coupons because the store turns in thecoupons to the clearinghouse for reimbursement. Thanks in advance! You would need to split up the transactions. Thanks Christie! Today went well at my WAGS!! First time I did the whole multiple transaction thing. I am curious what that is and how you get one. The Monthly IVC books should be in store in the rack with the weekly ads. Each register should also have a book the cashier can scan. Thankfully the manager came up. Also there is a spot on the receipt where it tells u your total savings.

They have been great about giving rain checks but by the time the shelves are restocked my coupons have expired. The redeeming of expired RR is at the store mgrs discretion. Thanks for this blog. I love Wags too. Yet you mention that this is possible in all your scenarios. How do you get this to work? I made some purchases at Walgreens today and had my 2 kids with me who had me distracted. I went yesterday and purchased 4 of the Sundown vitamins which were B1G1 and I had four coupons.

I think the clerk neglected to scan one of the coupons, so I only got 3 taken off. I noticed it right away and was sent to the manager who very rudely told me that actually, I was supposed to only be able to use 2 coupons max. I went to my car and got my printed policy to show him the policy for B1G1 and he still disagreed with me. There was absolutely no convincing him. Am I missing something here? Do the managers have the authority to override corporate policy? I was told on Tuesday by my local walgreens that they are under new district managment and we are going to be no longer allowed to use filler items such as the 10 cent laffy taffy.

I asked what we will be able to use and how can they tell us what we can and cant buy and i got told they dont know. Doesnt make any sense to me. I had a problem using fillers at Walgreens today. So, he grabbed another Nestle and it went through fine. I was planning on testing my theory with some Laffy Taffy tonight, but it sounds like I may just be out of luck.

Annie — The Nestle coupon is attaching to both items. You need another filler in there to use the RR. Just one more thing to keep in mind when shopping at Wags! I finally figured out why it wouldnt work, Thanks to your help for Annie up above. I had the same problem as her, the coupon attaches to the 2 and 3 cereals leaving me without enough items to coupons ratio. Question, can you redeem several of the same rewards to purchase another item. Example, I have multiple reach rewards from multiple purchases can I redeem them in one transactions together?

Yes, however you do need as many items as you have Register Rewards. I have also been told at one of the 5 store I frequent that there is a new coupon policy. This has become very frustrating! What is the real story? OK, well I do know that some stores here are limiting to one deal of the same type per person per day, but THAT they have posted at all registers And if they do have their own rules, how do we find out? Cuz different cashiers at the same store do things differently, and how do we even know who is right?

Anyone know what would happen? Or where I could find out in the future for other deals? The Exec Asst? I even showed him the policy! I understand he was just tryi g to be ethical. I think now he will talk to his mgr and raise the question though. He sounds like, once he thought about it, it would plague him, lol! I just went to a different store.

How to stack coupons (and how not to)

Will that RR print? I always give the cashier the in store coupons first, then the MQs and last the the RR, but yesterday I went shopping at the Wags I always shop at and the regular cashier made me use the RR first then the MQs and last the in store coupon. If something is just on sale, say normally 5. The store-specific manufacturer coupon like the ones in the Infant Care Booklet…what are those? Manufacturer or store? I had an issue today at using RR. Please look and see if you can help me understand what i am doing wrong.

Nobody there could tell me why they wouldnt work. I purchased the following: Zyrtex 5. I know i have enough items, and my total that i did have to pay was Ive racked my brain trying to figure this out and I am at a loss. Any suggestions? Thanks for all your help! My store insists that I give them first. Should I tell them no? Most of my stores do not care about the order you give the coupons to us.

It is simply easier for the cashier to ring the walgreens coupons first because they can be rung at anytime during the transaction without hitting extra buttons also they may have coupon codes memorized and can key them in without the need to scan the coupon. Manufacturer coupons, however, require them to hit subtotal before ringing the coupon and again before continuing to ring other items or walgreens coupons. This is usually when you here the register start beeping alot because the cashier was too quick for the register to keep up and then they will need to clear error messages 3 or 4 times before they can continue.

Thus you should count those 2 items together as 1 item. The register will not let you enter a second coupon for those 2 items. The above says not to hand in Wags Qs first, why is that?

How many manufacturer coupons can you use on ONE item??

Can you explain in more detail? Christie gave me corporate phone number and I called them almost three weeks and had to call back two more times, each time I was told they were working on the question I had and that someone would call me. I finally received a call from the local store manager who said yes that corporate had changed the monthly booklet to manufacturer coupons if they start with and that only those starting with were a Wags q. I then asked him about their current ad for cottonelle that said you could stack the in store coupon which is in the august booklet with a q from the newspaper.

He said it was a misprint but that he would honor it since it was in the ad. I want to thank you very much for this advice and I will try this next week at Walgreens. Have a great day. I have a question about RR from the same manufacture. Crest, Head and Shoulders, Pantene etc…do these items need to be purchased in seperate transactions to get all of the register rewards to print? Can you use coupons if ordering from Walgreens online?

Just wondering. Latoya, that is not true. You can do multiple transactions, right in a row, if you want. You can buy multiples of the same items and split them between your transactions. A lot of Wags shoppers will intentionally check out at the beauty counter for this reason. Sorry to hear you were misinformed! I know this question has probably been answered a thousand times, but say you want to buy 10 of the same item that earns RR in one transaction, will you get 10 RR or only one per transaction? If that is the case, I would need to have 10 transactions to get 10 RR for that one item?

Angie, that just happened to me! But on the other hand in the end its still up to a manager if they do it. Hi Christie, I had a bad experience at walgreens yesterday and I told myself, I always have a problem with this store. Please help me understand this situation, they are not being reasonable. I told the manager and the cashier, we based register rewards on the total amount of the products before coupons because from my point of view, the coupons were being payed by the manufacturers for us to get encouraged to buy their products and try it.

May I know from your point of view how this works and if this is how your Walgreens coupon policy works? I would appreciate any clarifications or any words of wisdom that anyone could share, thanks and more power. A few months ago. I saw on another site that someone was rolling depends and witchhazel.
