Island Inn. The front desk and housekeeping were very accommodating, and our room, 4B was newly renovated, was bright, cheery and My only complaint was that I got an email the day before saying that my room would be ready early at 11am instead of the usual 3pm.

I was on the island for a film This historic inn is cozy, clean, and just steps away from central Oak Bluffs. Kathleen's Kottage on Martha's Vineyard. Nashua House Hotel. This WAS an amazing place to stay. I started making this my annual trip about 5 years ago. This summer I found out this would be the last summer it would be the Nashua Tivoli Inn. The safety of the area kept me more than content with my choice of stay, and the owner was friendly and accommodating. We really enjoyed it. The owner is very nice and made us feel The weather was cold and sunny. Wonderful memories with great friends.
Our short stay was a nice change of pace and felt as though we were staying with family. Brady offered fresh coffee, delicious home made breakfast Martha's Vineyard Resort. Claudette, the owner, is a very nice, genuine person. We like to have that kind of person in charge when lodging Claudette, the owner, is very nice. Location is close to town but I would suggest driving. We parked near the Ocean View restaurant and walked into Oak Bluffs.
WiFi was a Admiral Benbow Inn. The restaurant served a more than adequate dinner and breakfast was fantastic. The lake water was low, but all in all a Pros : All the physical features and fixtures of the room were of high quality and in top shape. The public areas were spotless, with interesting thematic display cases of items from Martha's Vineyard history. The staff was friendly and responsive. Pros : I did not like the rude staff or owner it made everything horrible! Cons : We reserved a pet friendly room.
We were harassed for having the pet. To the point my wife left in an ambulance to Martha's Vineyard emergency room ; what a nightmare. The owner did not even apppologize she even insulted us further.

Perhaps what makes the Pequot Hotel special, though, is that it makes guests feel right at home—with comfortable rocking chairs on the front porch, fresh-baked cookies every afternoon, Sunday morning mimosas, complimentary beach chairs, and Friday porch parties. Pros : Charming setting with in walking distance of the beach, shops, and restaurants. The staff was wonderful and the breakfast was great. Would definitely stay there again. Pros : The hotel itself was adorable and a close walk to the beach and all of the shops and restaurants in oaks bluffs. About 10 minutes into town walking, also close to the "gingerbread houses".
Cons : A bit on the pricy side, but that's Marthas Vineyard in the summer!! Pros : The staff was very friendly, amenities were modern, room was super clean, an overall enjoyable experience! Pros : Great staff, closeness to beach, shopping and restaurants, cookies and lemonade in the afternoon, rocking on the front porch. Crocker House Inn. Thorncroft Inn. Ashley Inn. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Pros : When we arrived they told us that the room had already been booked, due to another person changing the booking for another website.
They quickly told us not to worry and they would honor our booking and work to re-book the other person at another location. In two hours, while we ate lunch, they called and told us that we could check into the room. Winnetu Oceanside Resort at South Beach.
Featured amenities include a hour front desk and luggage storage. This is by no means your budget destination. The kitchen has several refrigerators to store your perishable food items. The hostel provided delicious pancakes, bread and coffee for breakfast. South Beach in Edgartown is serene and not too crowded with stretches of pristine sand and water.
It is the place of weekly worship and also the venue for a number of cultural activities during the summer. Grand Illumination Night usually occurs on the third Wednesday in August. Lanterns illuminate the gingerbread cottages creating a wonderful ambience and there is a community sing-along as well as a band concert in the Tabernacle. This is a beautiful octagonal shaped church with a lofty cupola located in Oak Bluffs. The windows of this chapel have lovely stained glass windows. Aside from being the venue for weekly worship, it hosts local community and art events.
This a busy street packed with tiny shops of interest. You could easily spend a few hours browsing this shopping street.

Pop into the Bunch of Grapes Bookshop for a chance to browse books of local interest or just pick up something to read on the beach. There are a number of boutique style shops selling jewellery and artisanal items and a wonderful vintage cinema hall called the Capawock Theatre worthy of visiting. There are several things to do here. Hop along to sample the fresh local produce, food, flowers and baked treats among other items. Hop over to the Field Gallery next door to view artwork by local artists and unusual sculptures in the garden.
The store is a treasure trove of little vintage inspired curiosities, toys, candy, books and groceries.
Located in the Tisbury Marketplace this is a nice shop to browse for current and nostalgic toys and books of yesteryear. There is a lot to see in this tiny shop crammed with a lot of inventory so make sure you have some time to spare.
The only thing in between you and the sunset will be an expanse of shining sea. You may find yourself wanting to do this every night.
